If anybody has any suggestions about any genre of product you want a little bit of advice or guidance on, ask me! It couldn’t hurt, and I have tried a lot of things. Really, a shameful amount of things…

Sigh…Shiseido, Shiseido, Shiseido. We all know how lovely Shiseido EVERYTHING is..especially their skin products. These, however, are there ever-so-popular cotton facial pads. Believe me, they’re not like any cloth, cotton ball, or cotton pad you’ve ever used. These are the equivalent to using silk to remove your makeup! If silk was makeup-proof….you know what I mean. They’re $8 for 100 which is the same price (at Shoppers) for the 100 pack of regular (boo!) cotton pads. Step it up, people! Tip: These pads are thick enough that I peel it apart to get two pads. I even use them sometimes to remove my nail-polish, ONE pad (ripped into two) removes all ten fingers of several-layered polish.

I love this product!!!! Once again, I got it from Shopper’s (the ones with beauty boutiques) and the woman working recommended it due to it’s deep clean and it’s gear towards those with sensitive and even problem-prone skin. The product also contains spa water (which has become a recurring theme in my skin products!!!) If you want more info on the benefits of spa water in your products just check out my next post. More on this gel, it foams up a little during use (as you can see in the picture) and I can feel it deep cleaning while I use it, there’s a slight intensity to it but that goes away after rinsing. My skin already feels cleaner and clearer the last few days but I will even do a follow up once I have used it for another week or two. This product is approximately 25$.

These Ponds facial wipes I heard from in Whitney Port’s book True Whit and they’re simply available at Shopper’s for $4.99 (currently on sale!).
Although I use a higher-end makeup remover and cleaner, I like these for a quick removal of my makeup if I am going to work out or if I have just gotten home from university and don’t feel like cleaning my face thoroughly. From using them a handful of times, I have to say they seem to work really well in getting off all of my makeup! By the time I’m done using them my makeup is pretty much all gone. I usually use 1-2 to get off everything from my face to my eyes; the wipes foam up (just a little-which I love) during use and are slightly flexible. The pack comes with 100 and has a re-sealable adhesive opening so they stay fresh and don’t dry up. A simple product, but I appreciate what it does for my sensitive skin- they contain aloe, chamomile and green tea, which for someone like me who has had allergic reactions to wipes in the past, is a great feature.

ATTENTION: THIS PRODUCT IS A MIRACLE.
Okay, maybe not a miracle but holy crap it’s amazing. Thermal spa water in general is an amazing product to have, not only superficially, but for health reasons believe it or not. This is Vichy’s limited time packaging as they are doing an anniversary type advertising for their very popular spa water. If anyone knows Vichy, they are known to put thermal spa water in almost all of their products, that is what makes the brand so amazing. Actually, this special vitamin-filled water comes from a thermal spring in Vichy, France!
Well this spray, my friends, is 100% thermal spa water, no additives AT ALL.
Not one! Literally, it says ingredients: water.
You might be thinking…how can plain old water sprayed on my face be worth $13? Remember, it’s thermal spa water…this water found in France is so incredible (can you tell I’m in love?), just listen to what it does:
(from: http://icyabstract.onsugar.com/Events-Vichy-Thermal-Spa-Water-Spray-Workshop-18770515)
“The water is considered to be ‘living’ because it cannot be reproduced by scientific means and cannot be transported abroad, thus it reflects an active ingredient that is natural and pure. Due to that, all Thermal Spa Water harvesting occurs in France and Vichy’s products are also made in France to ensure the freshness of the Spa water when it is included to the product.
Vichy Thermal Spa Water is rich in 15 different mineral salts and trace elements. The water has the ability to sooth and protect the skin, ridding redness in a short amount of time.”
On top of all this, the product contains these amazing vitamins for your skin:
Calcium: protects skin tissue
Potassium: helps in hydrating skin cells
Silicon: densifying, regenerating
Magnesium: stimulates skin regeneration
Iron: Helps in oxygenating skin cells
Manganese: Combats oxidation and simulates healing.
Copper: Has an anti-inflammatory action
Zinc: Necessary for cell growth and healing
Do you need any more convincing? :)

Ciao!
This is the official page where I will be storing my product reviews, old and new. If this blog is the attic of my mind, this is just like peering into one of the many floorboards.
These are some things I have loved trying; some were so fabu I continue to love them, and some are long gone. Wether you decide to try any of them is up to you- either way, I hope you enjoy my feedback.
